Key responsibilities
Product Design & Prototyping
- Take features from concept to production-quality UI: flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Rapidly prototype new concepts to validate ideas with users before full implementation.
- Use AI design and prototyping tools (e.g. Claude Design, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Figma, Figma Make etc.) to develop concepts quickly, then translate validated ideas into high-fidelity designs and clear specifications.
- Build prototypes for medium-term roadmap items and support user testing to refine features.
UI/UX & Design Systems
- Identify, propose, and scope UI/UX enhancements based on user feedback and product data.
- Refine product interfaces to improve usability, clarity, and engagement.
- Help shape and apply a consistent design system across the product so designs translate directly into the platform (Kara is built on a no-code platform, so design and product stay closely connected).
Collaboration & Product Documentation
- Work directly with the Head of Product and engineers across the software development lifecycle, from idea through build, testing, and release.
- Write product requirements documents (PRDs) and create prototypes aligned with roadmap goals.
- Conduct acceptance testing for new features prior to release to ensure functionality and quality.
